Air force refutes fact of four `Ruslans` disappearance
The commander of Russian air force military-transport aviation lieutenant-general Victor Denisov declared the information about missing of four aircrafts AN-124 `Ruslan` to be contrary to fact.
According to his words `Four aircrafts AN-124` have been transferred to aviation company `Polyot` on lease agreements, concluded between Russian Ministry of State Property, Russian Ministry of Defense and CJSC `Aviation Company `Polyot``.
Earlier it was informed, that in the course of inspection in one of aviation units, dislocated on military aerodrome `Seshcha` in Bryansk region, four transport aircrafts AN-124 `Ruslan` were discovered missing. The information came from the chief of Federal finance and budget oversight in Bryansk region Vladimir Korshunov. He refused to comment on the situation, having just estimated the aircrafts value of 4753 million rubles.
Korshunov said, that at the present time, investigation is being conducted by Military Prosecutor`s Office and Federal Security Service.
